RM400 BG31/32 peripherals cabinet

Thanks to the OLR facility, the RM400 BG31/32 peripherals cabinet is one of the
high-availability components for the RM400 system.
6.7.1

Opening the peripherals cabinet

Depending on whether the defective magnetic disk is located at the front or the back
of the RM400 BG31/32 peripherals cabinet, you will have to take off either the front
door or the back cover of the cabinet in order to remove the magnetic disk.
Magnetic disks with the addresses (SCSI IDs) 2 to 0 are at the front of the cabinet,
magnetic disks with the addresses (SCSI IDs) 3 to 5 are installed at the back of the
RM400 BG31/32 peripherals cabinet.

Turn the keyswitch on the operator panel of the RM400 BG31/32 peripherals
cabinet to the left, to the position SERVICE.
Ê
Then press the release buttons to the right and left of the door (as indicated by
the arrows), tilt the door downwards away from the cabinet, and lift it out of its
groove.
