9. Apply shock oil to a new U-cup seal
seal as shown. The flat side of the seal faces out.
NOTICE
Use the rounded end of a ball point pen or marker to
push the U-cup seal into position.
10. Apply shock oil to a new wiper seal
wiper seal as shown.
11. When assembled, the O-ring

seal should be orientated as shown. Bushing
shown for reference.

12. Coat the shock shaft and bearing assembly with
shock oil. Install the bearing assembly onto the shock
shaft with the wrench flats facing the rod end eyelet.
Install a new O-ring onto the bearing cap.
13. Install the compression valve stack onto the shock
rod. Coat a new piston valve wear band with shock oil
and install onto valve. Install the assembly onto the
shock shaft. Install the rebound valve stack onto the
shock rod.
NOTICE
The side of valve with the greater number of relief ports
is the rebound side. Install with rebound side facing up.
