MAINTENANCE 50/50 EXTENDED-LIFE ENGINE ANTIFREEZE All liquid-cooled Polaris vehicles use 50/50 Extended Life antifreeze, which has a 5-year service life. It’s important to note that conventional, 60/40 antifreeze can be mixed with 50/50 Extended Life antifreeze. However, mixing the two will affect the service interval. To receive the full 5-year service interval benefit, the cooling system must be fully drained and replenished with the Extended Life antifreeze.
