• IP Assignment Method
Shows how the IPv4 address is assigned. The following values are possible:
– Static
– Dynamic (DHCP)
• Address Collision Detection Status
If new IPv4 addresses become active in the network, the "Address Collision
Detection" function checks whether this can result in address collisions. The allows
IPv4 addresses that would be assigned twice to be detected.

The function does not run a cyclic check.
This column shows the current status of the function. The following values are
possible:
– Idle
– Starting
– Conflict
– Defending
– Active
– Not supported
– Disabled

The IPv4 address is static. You enter the settings in "IP Address" and "Subnet
Mask".
The device obtains a dynamic IPv4 address from a DHCPv4 server.
