(REMOTE:) Local

Remote Mode: press ENT
for local mode, or CLR
Press [ENT] to switch to Local Mode to continue with your task, or press [CLR] to exit the task
and remain in the active mode.

(REMOTE:) SERIAL

On the top line, use the [][] arrow keys to set the mode to RS-232 or RS-485.
On the bottom line, set the Serial address (Addr). Use the [][] arrow keys to select a digit,
and then the [][] arrow keys to change its value. The valid range of addresses is from 001
(default) to 255.
Next, set the Baud rate. Use the [][] arrow keys to select the parameter, and then the [][]
arrow keys to select the desired baud rate of 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600 (default), 19K2, and 38K4.
Finally, set the asynchronous character format. Use the [][] arrow keys to select the parameter,
and then the [][] arrow keys to select the desired format (i.e., number of data bits; odd, even,
or no parity; number of stop bits) as 8-N-1, 7-E-2, or 7-O-2.
Press [ENT].

(REMOTE:) ETHERNET

The LBC-4000/-ST L-Band Up/Down Converter System, as initially released,
does not feature a rear panel '10/100 ETHERNET' port. Only current production
units offer Ethernet Interface operation. See Chapter 4. REAR PANEL
CONNECTORS for more information.
On the top line, use the [][] arrow keys to select ADDRESS, GATEWAY, or SNMP. (The
bottom line displays the read-only unit MAC address.) Press [ENT].
Front Panel Operation
