Troubleshoot the WiFi connectivity between
a WiFi client and a master or access point
Tip: If you want to change the WiFi settings of the AirBridge's network, use a wired
connection to avoid being disconnected when the new WiFi settings take effect.
If you cannot connect a WiFi client such as a smartphone to an AirBridge that functions
as a master with the AirBridge mode disabled or as an access point, check these items:
• Make sure that the WiFi settings on the WiFi client and AirBridge match exactly.
For a device that is connected over WiFi, the WiFi network name (SSID) and WiFi
security settings of the AirBridge and WiFi client must match exactly. For more
information , see Change or configure a new 5 GHz SSID for a master or access point
on page 62.
• Make sure that the WiFi client supports the security that you are using for the
AirBridge 5 GHz SSID (WPA2-PSK or WPA2-Enterprise). For more information, see
Manage the 5 GHz SSIDs and WiFi security on page 60.
• Make sure that the WiFi signal is not blocked by objects between the AirBridge and
the WiFi client.
• Make sure that the AirBridge's SSID broadcast is not disabled.
