Rules for Setting Up a Fiber-Optic Cable Network with the IM 151-1 FO
STANDARD
For a fiber-optic cable network with nodes that have integrated fiber-optic cable
interfaces, note the following:
S The fiber-optic cable network can be set up only as a line segment.
S If you remove the fiber-optic cable from an integrated fiber-optic cable interface,
or the supply voltage to the IM151-1 FO STANDARD fails, all the downstream
nodes are no longer accessible.
