Cleaning the Development Unit - 2

 Insert the mylar jig provided.
 The jig [A] has a cut-out and
flap [B].
 Insert the jig (1) between the
development roller and the
doctor blade.
 Lower the edge of the jig to
about a 45-degree angle (2).
 Slowly, pull the jig out. As you
pull. the flap should catch on
the back of the doctor blade
and snap to vertical against
the back of the blade (3).
 Move the jig side to side several
times to clean developer off the
back of the doctor blade.
 Cleaning the doctor blade is not
necessary after replacing
developer.
