A power regulator card is failing.
1. Is the SRC 1xxx 1201 or 1401?
v Yes: Continue with the next step.
v No: Go to step 5 (See page 332).
2. Perform the following:
a. Remove load cards Mxx in table below for application. The possible failing loads are:

840/SB3
b. Power on the system.
Does the system power on?
v Yes: Continue with the next step.
v No: Go to step 23 (See page 335).
3. Perform the following:
a. Power off the system.
b. Reinstall one of the Mxx load cards that was removed in step 2 (See page 332).
c. Power on the system.
Does the system power on?
v Yes: Continue with the next step.
v No: The last card that was reinstalled in this step is the failing item.
This ends the procedure.
4. Have all the Mxx load cards been reinstalled?
v Yes: This ends the procedure.
v No: Repeat step 3 (See page 332).
5. Is the SRC 1xxx 1202 or 1402?
v Yes: Continue with the next step.
v No: Go to step 7 (See page 332).
6. Perform steps 23 (See page 335) to 24 (See page 335), and return here after completion. Did the
completion of these steps resolve SRC 1xxx 1202 or 1402?
v No: Replace the "BACKPLN" on page 284.
This ends the procedure.
v Yes: This ends the procedure.
7. Is the SRC 1xxx 1203 or 1403?
v Yes: Continue with the next step.
v No: Go to step 9 (See page 333).
