Table 10. Bus problem
Symptom
The system has detected a bus problem. An SRC of the
form B600 69xx will be displayed on the Control Panel.
Bus errors will not prevent a system from completing an
IPL, though bus errors are logged during an IPL. Though
it is possible for a bus error to bring a system or partition
down, most of the time the system or partition will be
functioning and the error will be logged in the Service
Action Log.

Service Functions topics
What you should do:
If the system shows an SRC in the Service Action Log,
look at the failing items identified in the Service Action
Log view.
If possible failing hardware can be identified, the Service
Action Log will list hardware FRUs to be replaced. If
hardware FRUs can not be identified, the Service Action
Log will list procedures designed to isolate failing
hardware.
Perform any symbolic FRUs or Bus problem isolation
procedures (Bus PIPs) listed in the Service Action Log. To
replace hardware, go to Locations and addresses for the
system or tower on which you are working.
If a Service Action Log is not available, use the SRC on
the control panel and go to the appropriate B600 System
reference code table.
What you should do:
Go to "Use the service action log."
