Failing item code
Description/Action
FI02092
See FI00092 (See page 251).
FI02112
FI02112 indicates that the addressed storage device is the failing item.
Perform the following:
1. Is the device location information available in the Service Action Log?
2. Find the IOP address and the device address (see SRC address formats).
3. To determine the location of the I/O processor card, see the Locations and addresses list
4. Exchange the failing device. Use the device type to determine the part.

Symbolic FRUs

For use by authorized service providers.
Use the contents pane to select the symbolic FRU you would like to use.

ACMODUL

For use by authorized service providers.
An AC module or power supply may be failing. This procedure will help you to determine the part number
for the failing item. If the system powers on normally, or stays powered on after an ac power failure, no
replacement of parts may be needed.
Follow the instructions for the model you are working on:
v Models 270, 800, 810, 820, 825, 870/890 (FC 9094) (See page 268)
v Models 830, 840, SB2, and SB3 (See page 269)
ACMODUL instructions for Models 270, 800, 810, 820, 825, 870/890 (FC 9094)
1. For Model 825 with a reference code 00AC, make sure that the processor enclosure cover is fully
closed.
Note: On a Model 825, the 00AC reference code can be caused by the processor enclosure cover not
installed, or a faulty interlock switch assembly. See the Model 825 - Interlock switch remove and
replace procedure, and the Type, model, and part number list for the part number.
2. For Models 870/890 with reference code 00AC, check the following before continuing with this
procedure:
v When the room EPO cable is not installed (on an 870/890 system unit), make sure that the room
EPO BYPASS switch on the bottom of the EPO panel is to the left (blocking cable installation).
v When the room EPO is installed, check to ensure that the customer's room EPO switch is not
tripped and the cable is connected and seated correctly (On an 870/890 system unit).
v Check the VSCOMM cable, BPC-A/B P00 and M41 VPD to CB1 between the FC 9094 and 870/890
system unit, to ensure that it is connected and seated correctly.
