Reload the unit to put the mode change into effect.

The following example removes the data uplink configuration from an ICX 7650 device, restores the default (100-Gbps stacking),
saves the configuration, and reloads the unit so that it operates in 100-Gbps stacking mode.

For information on changing the stacking speed, refer to

Forming an ICX 7650 stack

Be sure the rear module on all ICX 7650 units is cabled correctly before configuring stacking.
You can use the stack interactive-setup command as outlined in this procedure to configure an ICX 7650 stack. Other options
for configuring a stack are also available. For more information on stack construction, refer to
page 56.

(Optional) Use the show rear-module command to verify that the rear module is operating in a stacking mode. The
default mode is 100-Gbps stacking.

The rear module operates in stacking mode with 100G speed.
The rear module is configured in stacking mode with 100G speed.
The example shows the unit is operating in default mode (100-Gbps stacking).

If necessary, reconfigure the rear module for each unit in the stack to operate in the desired stacking mode. This may
require removing the data uplink configuration. Refer to
information.

Enable stacking on each unit you plan to include in the stack.

ICX7650-48P Router(config)# stack enable

Enter the stack interactive-setup command to configure the stack automatically. Respond to system prompts to
confirm the stack configuration and to specify options such as the number of units in the stack, preferred unit IDs, the
formation of multiple links as stacking trunks, and the creation of a ring topology.
