BATTERY/CHARGING SYSTEM
2. Main Relay Operation Voltage Inspection
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Measure the voltage between the Red/green
wire terminal and ground.
te there battery voltage?
NO - • Check for an open or short circuit in
the wire harness.
• Check the ignition switch (page 18-
19)
• Check for loose or poor contact of
related terminals.
YES - GO TO STEP 3.
3. Main Relay Internal Circuit Voltage Inspection
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Measure the voltage between the Red/green and
Green/white wire terminals.
Is there battery voltage?
NO - • Check for an open or short circuit in
wire harness. If there is normal,
replace the ECM.
YES - GO TO STEP 4.

4. Starter Relay Circuit Inspection
Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Disconnect the ECM 6P connector.
Check the continuity between the Red/black wire
terminal at the main relay connector and the Red
wire terminal at the ECM 6P connector.
Is there continuity exist?
NO - • Check for an open or short circuit in
wire harness.
• Check the starter relay (page 17-6).
YES - Correct.
