Cause
Heated Oxygen Sensor wiring and/or
connections open or shorted OR sensor is
faulty OR there are vacuum leaks or exhaust
leaks.
Heated Oxygen Sensor wiring and/or
connections open or shorted OR sensor is
faulty.
Heated Oxygen Sensor wiring and/or
connections open or shorted OR sensor is
faulty.
The post cat Heated Oxygen Sensor wiring
and/or connections are open or shorted OR
sensor is cold, non-responsive or inactive for
60 seconds or longer.
Heated Oxygen Sensor wiring and/or
connections open or shorted OR sensor is
faulty OR there are vacuum leaks or exhaust
leaks OR fuel pressure is low OR the fuel
injectors need cleaning or replacing.
MAP, IAT or ECT sensors not in correct
position OR wiring and/or connections for
sensors open or shorted OR sensor is faulty
OR one or more fuel injectors are stuck open
OR there is electro-magnetic interference
from a faulty crankshaft and/or camshaft
position sensor.
Heated Oxygen Sensor wiring and/or
connections open or shorted OR sensor is
faulty OR fuel quality is poor OR fuel system
components may be faulty.
There are exhaust leaks OR the catalyst
system efficiency is below the acceptable
level.
