IV. SEPARATION CORONA
OPTIMUM ADJUSTING VALUES:
AC 47 ± 1 µA (normal)
DC 1.7 ± 1.0 µA (normal)
DC -11 ± 1.0 µA (leading edge)
NOTE: There is no adjustment for leading edge
ac current.
1. Reinstall the T/S corona unit [A] and the
cleaning unit [B].
2.
Position the drum shoe [C] at the center of
the shaft so that the axis of the current
sensing plate is aligned between the separa-
tion corona wires as shown.
3. Reinstall the drum stay [D] (1 screw and 1
knob) and return the T/S corona unit to its
original position.
4. Select the dc 200 µA range of the digital
multimeter [E].
