Preparation; Charge Corona - Ricoh FT556 Service Manual

I. PREPARATION
1. Turn off the main switch and remove the
following parts:
Development unit
Charge corona unit cover (1 screw) and
charge corona unit
Quenching corona unit
Drum stay (1 screw and 1 knob screw)
Toner collection bottle (1 screw)
Cleaning unit
Drum flange
Drum -- s h o u l d b e c o v e r e d w i t h a
protective sleeve
Drum guide [A]
T/S corona unit
T/S corona paper guide
2. Clean or replace each corona wire. Also
clean the corona units and the cleaning unit.
3. Actuate the front safety switch.
4. Remove the rear cover (3 screws).
