INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Turn off the main switch.
2. Remove the following parts:
Platen cover [A]
Mounting stud (2 pcs) [B]
Truss screw [C]
Left scale (2 screws) [D]
Rear cover (3 screws) [E]
ADF docking hole cap (2 pcs) [F]
Save the above parts for future use.
3. Secure the rear
screws).
4. Set the flip scale [H] (with the flip scale
spring [I]) on the original exit guide [J]; then,
mount it as shown (2 flathead screws).
5. Secure two flathead shoulder screws [K] as
shown in the figure.
6. Remove the strips of shipping tape [L].
