VI. PRE-QUENCHING CORONA
Optimum Adjusting Value: DC +25 ± 1.0 µA
1.
Position the drum shoe at the center of the
shaft
so
that
sensing plate is aligned with the quenching
corona wire.
2.
Reinstall the drum stay (1 screw and 1
knob), the cleaning unit, and the quenching
corona unit.
3.
Select the dc 200 µA range of the digital
multimeter.
4.
Disconnect the connector of the cleaning
bias roller at the power pack as the on
timing of the cleaning bias roller and the
pre-quenching corona are the same.
5.
Plug the switching board into CN106 and
turn on SW 5.
6.
Lower the PCB plate (2 screws).
7.
Turn on the main switch and adjust the
quenching corona current by turning PQC on
the power pack [A]. (Wait 30 seconds for
the corona current to stabilize.)
8.
Turn off the main switch and switch 5 of
the switching board.
