The platform controls contains two
printed circuit boards:
The LED circuit board is mounted to the underside
of the control box lid which contains the LED's. The
LED circuit board sends the input from the operator
to the platform controls ECM circuit board (PCON).
The ECM circuit board (PCON) sends the data to
the turntable control box (TCON) for processing.
The platform controls ECM circuit board
(ALC-1000) communicates with the turntable
controls. The joystick controllers at the platform
controls utilize Hall Effect technology and require
no adjustment. The operating parameters of the
joysticks are stored in memory at the turntable
controls. If a joystick controller error occurs or if a
joystick is replaced, it will need to be calibrated
before that particular machine function will operate.
See 1-3, How to Calibrate a Joystick.
Each joystick controller should operate smoothly
and provide proportional speed control over its
entire range of motion.
