• ABS FAULT (antilock brake sys-
tem fault)
Appears when there is a prob-
lem with the antilock brake sys-
tem.
See your dealer or a qualified
technician for service.

• BRAKES
Appears if there is a problem
with the brake system.
See your dealer or a qualified
technician for service.
See "Brakes" in Section 3 for
more information on the brake
system.

• CHANGE OIL
Appears when the life of the
engine oil has expired and the
oil should be replaced.
After the oil change message
comes on, change the engine
oil as soon as possible within
the next 1000 km (600 miles).
See Section 4 for more infor-
mation on checking the oil.
After you change the oil, the oil
life monitor will need to be
reset. See your dealer for ser-
vice.

• DOORS
Appears when one or more of
the doors is open or ajar.
Close the doors to clear the
message.
• ENG HOT (engine hot)
Appears when the coolant tem-
perature is too hot.
Check the engine coolant tem-
perature gage.
See "Engine Coolant Tempera-
ture Gage" earlier in this sec-
tion.
See your dealer immediately if
you suspect the system is not
performing properly.
