3. Four-Wheel High Lock
This setting provides extra
traction for most off-road
driving conditions.
Use this setting when driving
on sand, mud, snow or level,
rocky trails.

4. Four-Wheel Low Lock
This setting delivers extra
4
torque to all four wheels.
Use this setting when driving
in extreme off-road condi-
tions.
If the vehicle has locking axles,
you can also lock the front and
rear axles for additional trac-
tion in extreme off-road situa-
tions.

section, for more information:

- Locking Rear Axle
NOTICE
Do not drive in Four-Wheel Low
Lock at speeds over 48 km/h
(30 mph) for any extended
period of time.
The transfer case could be
damaged.
The indicator lights on the buttons
will come on briefly when the igni-
tion is turned on and one light,
indicating the transfer case
setting, will stay on.
If these lights do not come on
when the ignition is turned on you
should have your vehicle serviced.
An indicator light will flash while
you are shifting.
NOTICE
Do not shift the transmission
into gear until the transfer case
indicator light stops flashing.
Otherwise, the transfer case
could be damaged.
