Seats and Restraints
4. Push rearward on the seatback
until it locks in the upright
position.
Push and pull on the seatback
to check that it is locked into
place.

5. Locate the anchors where the
seatback meets the back of
the seat cushion.
6. Attach the anchor points on
the child restraint to the
anchors in the vehicle. Follow
the instructions that come
with the restraint.
7. Tighten the top strap.
8. Push and pull the child
restraint in different directions
to make sure it is secure.
CAUTION
Each top strap anchor or set of
attaching points is designed to
hold only one child restraint.
Attaching more than one child
restraint to a single anchor or
attaching point could cause the
anchor or attaching point to
come loose or even break
during a collision. A child or
others may be injured. To
prevent injury to people and
damage to the vehicle, attach
only one child restraint per
anchor or attaching point.
