CAUTION
The system will not display
objects that are below the
bumper or under the vehicle, or
some objects that are very close
to either end of the bumper.
The system may not detect chil-
dren, pedestrians, bicyclists or
pets.
If children, pets or bicycles are
behind your vehicle, the vehicle
could strike them. They could
be injured or killed.
Whether or not you are using
the rear vision camera feature,
always check carefully behind
your vehicle and watch closely
whenever you back up.
The rear vision camera is located
on the rear bumper.
To use this feature, do the
following:
1. Make sure the system is on.
Press and hold the button
located on the inside rearview
mirror until the left indicator
light illuminates.
2. Shift to R (Reverse) to activate
the system.
Section 1
When the ignition is on and the
vehicle is shifted into R (Reverse),
the video image will appear inside
the rearview mirror.
The display may have a guideline
overlay that can help the driver
align the vehicle when backing
into a parking spot.
