• RFA 3 (remote function actua-
tor 3)
The parking lights flash and the
horn sounds when you lock or
unlock the doors with the
remote keyless entry transmit-
ter.
• RFA 4 (remote function actua-
tor 4)
You will not receive any feed-
back when locking or unlock-
ing your vehicle.

Messages
These messages will appear if a
problem is sensed in one of your
vehicle's systems.
If more than one problem is
detected, the messages will
appear one behind the other.
To acknowledge a message and
remove it from the display, press
the trip odometer reset button.
Some messages may not be
cleared until the problem is fixed.
• AC OFF (air conditioning off)
This message is displayed with
the ENG HOT (engine hot)
message.
The engine coolant tempera-
ture is too hot.
See "Engine Overheating" in
Section 5 for more information.
If the engine is overheating,
turn the air conditioning com-
pressor off.
