To reset the tire pressure
monitor:
Note:
Read through all of the
following procedure before you
begin programming.
Do not allow more than one
minute to elapse when match-
ing each tire or more than five
minutes to complete the
matching procedure for all four
tires, otherwise you have to
start over.
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Turn the ignition on but do
not start the engine.
3. Turn the main lights switch
from AUTO to "off" four times
within three seconds.
The horn will sound twice and
the tire pressure monitor light
will begin to flash, indicating
the tire matching process has
started.
A text message may also ap-
pear in the Driver Information
Center display.
4. Begin with the left front tire.

5. Remove the valve cap from
the valve stem and increase or
decrease the tire air pressure
for 10 seconds.
- When increasing tire pres-
sure, do not exceed the max-
imum inflation pressure listed
on the sidewall of the tire.
- To release air, push on the
metal stem in the center of
the tire valve.
Stop and listen for the horn
chirp which should sound
within 15 seconds, confirming
the tire position has been
stored.
If the horn does not sound,
you must start over with
step 1.
