Problems on the Road
NOTICE
Improperly tightened wheel
nuts can lead to brake pulsation
and rotor damage. To avoid
expensive brake repairs, evenly
tighten the wheel nuts in the
proper sequence and to the
proper torque specification.
14. When you install the wheel
and tire, you must also
reinstall the center cap. Place
the cap on the wheel and tap
it into place until it sits flush
with the wheel.

15. Restow tire and jacking
equipment in reverse order as
removal.
See "Storing Tire and Jacking
Equipment" later in this
section for more information.
CAUTION
Storing a jack, a tire or other
equipment in the passenger's
compartment of the vehicle
could cause injury. In a sudden
stop or collision, loose
equipment could strike
someone. Store all these in the
proper place.
After installing the spare tire on
your vehicle, stop as soon as
possible to make sure the tire is
correctly inflated.
