CAUTION
It is dangerous to use cruise
control in heavy traffic, or on
slippery or winding roads.
Fast changes in tire traction can
cause excessive wheel slip, and
you could lose control.
With cruise control, you can main-
tain a speed of about 40 km/h
(25 mph) or more without keep-
ing your foot on the accelerator
pedal.
Cruise control will not work if the
parking brake is set or if the master
cylinder brake fluid level is low.
If your vehicle is in cruise control
when the traction control or the
Stabilitrak system begins to limit
wheel spin, the cruise control will
automatically disengage.

Once conditions are back to
normal, you may turn the cruise
control back on.
