PREFACE
Durng daly mantenance, pay partcular attenton to the followng ponts.
(1) Do not lubrcate the plotter mechansms.
(2) To clean the plotter's metal parts, ether wpe the soled areas wth a dry cloth or wth a cloth that has been
dampened wth a neutral detergent dluted wth water.
Do not use paint thinner, benzine, alcohol, or similar solvents as they may damage the casing's finish.
(3) If the wrtng panel surface s soled, wpe t wth a dry cloth. If the surface s extremely drty, wpe the surface wth
a cloth that has been dampened wth alcohol or a neutral detergent dluted wth water. Make sure that the cloth has
been well wrung out.
Do not use antistatic cleaners or cloths treated with an antistatic agent to clean an electrostatic writing panel.
Antistatic agents will adversely affect the electrostatic adhesion of the panel.
Do not use benzine, thinners, or similar solvents to clean the writing panel. They will damage the surface.
Electrostatic adhesion writing panels tend to attract airborne dust and dirt. Clean off any dust or dirt that
adheres to the writing panel.
During periods of high humidity, the adhesion force of electrostatic adhesion panels may drop slightly.
When the plotter s not n use, follow the nstructons lsted below.
(1) Remove the pen from the pen carrage and store t wth the pen cap on.
(2) Cover the plotter wth the soft cover suppled or a cloth to keep dust off.
(3) Store the plotter n a locaton whch s not subject to ether drect sunlght or hgh humdty.
