The Cutting/Plotting Results are Unsatisfactory
Symptom
The cuttng results dffer from the
specified size.
When the plotter s recevng data,
the PROMPT lamp lghts. (an
offscale error occurs)
Some parts of the medum cannot
be cut.
The currently selected cuttng
condtons cannot be stored or
changed.
Text or lnes are deformed durng
pen plottng.
The specified length is not plotted
or cut. (slght dstance error)
Text s deformed.
Complex mages are deformed.
The startng and end ponts do not
match.
An unntentonal L-shape s cut.
Cause
The programmable resoluton (STEP SIZE)
has been set dfferently at the plotter and the
software applcaton.
Scaling has been specified at the computer.
The computer sent coordnate data that
exceeds the specified effective cutting area.
The Condton Prorty settng s set to
Program.
The [ENTER] key was not pressed after a
settng was changed.
The plotter s n Cuttng or Creasng mode.
The dstance correcton value s not
approprate.
The Step Pass value s too hgh.
The data s not connected.
The Offset Cut Pressure s too low.
The medium is too flimsy.
Cutter blade rotaton s not smooth.
"2 mm BELOW" has been selected for the
Int. Blade Control poston.

Set both the plotter and software to the same
programmable resoluton.
Check whether scaling has been specified.
Set the effectve cuttng area to a larger
area.
Reduce the size of the data.
Change the Condton Prorty settng
(Specal Functons menu) to Manual.
Make sure you are settng the condtons
correctly.
Select "PEN" for the cutter blade type n the
settng condtons.
Specfy the approprate dstance correcton
value.
Lower the Step Pass settng.
Plot the data wth a pen and then make the
correctons requred.
Rase the Offset Cut Pressure settng.
Swtch to a stronger medum.
Remove any foregn matter adherng to the
nsde of the holder.
Select "OUTSIDE" for the Int. Blade Control
poston. (Specal Functons menu)
