Remove the wheel, recovering the spacers from both
sides.

Lightly smear the spacers with grease and locate in
to the left hand and right hand sides of the hub.

1. Spacer (right hand shown)

Position the wheel between the forks.
3.
Raise the wheel until it is in alignment with the
spindle holes in both forks. Take care to not dislodge
the spacers.
4.
Refit the wheel spindle from the right hand side and
tighten to 65 Nm.
5.
Thoroughly clean and degrease the brake discs.
6.
Fit the brake calipers, tightening the mounting bolts
to
50 Nm.

Check that the brake disc is centrally located to the
caliper on the right hand side. If not, apply gentle
pressure to the fork to ensure the disc is centred with
the caliper.
8.
Maintaining the above position, tighten the fork
pinch bolts to
22 Nm.
9.
Check the operation of the front brake. Rectify as
necessary.

Do not allow the wheel to rest on either brake disc as
this may damage the disc leading to loss of motorcycle
control and an accident.
To prevent wheel and wheel bearing damage, ensure
dirt and debris are not allowed to enter the wheel
bearings.

Thoroughly clean all components and inspect for
wear or damage.
It is dangerous to operate the motorcycle with defective
brakes; you must have your authorised Triumph dealer
take remedial action before you attempt to ride the
motorcycle again. Failure to take remedial action may
reduce braking efficiency leading to loss of motorcycle
control and an accident.
