8.
Secure the brake light switch boss to the crankcase
and tighten the fixing to 7 Nm.

Reconnect the brake light switch connector and
cover with the rubber boot.
10. Align the brake pipe clip to the left hand side of the
swinging arm. Tighten the clip fixing to 7 Nm.

Bleed the front brakes (see page 12-29).

Bleed the rear brakes (see page 12-32).

Refit the fuel tank (see page 10-98).

Reconnect the battery, positive (identified with red
tape) lead first.
It is dangerous to operate the motorcycle with defective
brakes; you must have your authorised Triumph Dealer
take remedial action. Failure to take remedial action may
reduce braking efficiency leading to loss of motorcycle
control and an accident.
15.
Refit the rider's seat (see page 77-9).
16. Check that the brakes operate correctly.
