3.3.5.11 Trunk Groups

The Trunk Group submenu allows you to configure groups of channels called Trunk
Groups. This submenu includes the following page items:
Trunk Group (refer to "Configuring the Trunk Group Table" on page 173)
Trunk Group Settings (refer to ''Configuring the Trunk Group Settings'' on page 175)
3.3.5.11.1 Configuring the Trunk Group Table
The 'Trunk Group Table' page allows you to enable the device's channels by assigning
them telephone numbers and other attributes (e.g., Trunk Groups and Profiles). Trunk
Groups are used for routing IP-to-Tel calls with common rules. Channels that are not
defined are disabled. You can define up to 24entries in this table. Trunk Groups can be
used for FXO and FXS channels, but they are typically used for FXO interfaces.
Note:
To configure the Trunk Group table:
1.
Open the 'Trunk Group Table' page (Configuration tab > Protocol Configuration
menu > Trunk Group submenu > Trunk Group page item).
2.
Configure the Trunk Group according to the table below.
3.
Click the Submit button to save your changes.
4.
To save the changes to the flash memory, refer to ''Saving Configuration'' on page
193.

You can also configure the Trunk Groups using the ini file table parameter
TrunkGroup_x to (refer to ''Number Manipulation and Routing Parameters'' on
page 401).
