4 Fax
Sending to Folder (DTMF Method)
To send a fax to a folder using the DTMF method, you need the folder number of the
destination folder. Two DTMF methods are available: Auto and Manual.
Sending to Folder (Fax Signal Method)

Select [Remote Folder] on the [Fax/Internet
Fax Options] screen.

Select [On].
Off
Disables the Remote Folder feature.
On
Enables the Remote Folder feature. Enter a
folder number into [Remote Folder Number].
Remote Folder Number
Enter a 3-digit folder number using the numeric keypad.

Folder Passcode
Enter the 4-digit passcode of the remote folder using the numeric keypad. If a passcode
has not been set, leave this box blank.
Private Polling (Fax Signal Method)

Select [More Options] tab to display the
[More Options] screen.

Select [Remote Polling].

Select [Poll a Remote Device].

Select [Save].

Select the [Fax/Internet Fax Options] tab to
display the [Fax/Internet Fax Options]
screen.

Select [Remote Folder].

Select [On].

Disables the Private Polling feature.

Enables the Private Polling feature. Enter a folder number into [Remote Folder
Number].
Remote Folder Number
Enter a 3-digit folder number using the numeric keypad.
