    MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE Clearing Paper Jams Paper Jams in the Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) 1-2: Open the DADF Cover and remove the jammed document. 3-5: If necessary, open Inner Cover Clear Plastic Lever and carefully remove the jammed document. If the original could not be found, raise the DADF Tray and remove the jammed document.

The machine parts are very hot to touch and remove, failure to do so may result in burns if certain parts of the machine are touched. Observe the warning labels inside the machine.
