ID Card Copying (Copying Both Sides of an ID Card)

This feature allows you to copy both sides of a small undetectable original, such as an
ID card, onto one side of paper.

Specify the orientation of the document in
[Original Orientation] on the [Layout
Adjustment] screen.

Place a document against the top left edge
of the document glass, and close the cover.
Important • Use the document glass when copying.

For the document orientations, refer to "Original
Orientation (Specifying the Orientation of Loaded
Documents)" (P.95)".

Select [ID Card Copying].

Select [On].
Off
Disables ID card copying.
On
Enables ID card copying.

The document feeder is not available for
this feature.
• Specify the original's orientation correctly.
• Place the card slightly away from the top-
left corner of the document glass so that
the whole image can be captured.
