K1/163 1. Check function of travel direction switch (S2) (*)
and contact bonding.
2. Check cabling from (S2) to the module (A2) or to
module (A1) for short circuiting to the root.
3. Check correct cabling with (A2) and/or (A1).
4. If error continues, replace A2 and/or (A1).
(*) Connected to (A2) in BR/BD 100-120/250 R/I
(S2).
K1/171 1. Software error in process control -> developer:
2. Replace A1 with A1 for new firmware.
K1/172 1. Perform key switch (S0) reset several times.
2. If errors continue, test single module coupling, for
this, connect head CPU (A1) with only one ran-

dom module as direct bus. If error is replaced by
another, test with other modules until the mal-
functioning module is found. Replace the mal-
functioning module.
3. If the error continues, inform the developer.
4. Replace (A1) with (A1) for new firmware.
K1/174 1. Perform key switch (S0) reset.
2. If fault remains, replace A1.
3. Do not activate the program switch continuously,
i.e. do not continuously perform program changes
below 1-2 seconds in the timing code!
