Secure the duplex unit with the
two screws, as shown in the illus-
tration.

Remove the adhesive tape and the
packing material.

Close the upper portion of the du-
plex unit.

Connect the duplex unit cable to
the upper socket inside the print-
er securely. Make sure the pro-
t r u d i n g p a r t o f t h e c a b l e
connector is facing downward.

Attach the left side cover.

Connect all cables removed in

Plug the printer's power cord
back into the printer and the out-
let. Turn on the printer's power
switch.
