Setting keypad backlight
Set whether to turn on or off the keypad backlight.

In the Custom menu, select [Settings]/[Disp/LED/
Power saver]/[Light/Power saver]/[Original Eco
mode]/[Keypad light setting].

Select the setting/t.
The duration when set to [Light] follows the Display light time setting.
Note that setting to [Light] shortens the continuous stand-by time.
Kisekae Tool
Changing display of Custom menu
Use the Kisekae Tool to change the Custom menu screen,
stand-by display, menu icon, ring tone, etc. collectively.

The following items can be set. However, items that can be changed
depend on the set Kisekae Tool.
Screen Stand-by display, Outgoing voice calls, Videophone sending
screen, Incoming voice calls display, Incoming video phone
display, Send display, Receive display, Mail received
display, Message R receive complete screen, Message F
receive complete screen, SMS received display, Signal icon,
Battery icon, Animate notices, Custom menu image,
Machi-chara, Pattern image of VeilView
Ring tone Phone ring tone, Videophone ring tone, Mail ring tone,

Other Color theme, Font size, Font, Alarm tone (All alarm tones)

In the Custom menu, select [Data box]/[Kisekae
Tool].
: Alternatively, press i in the Custom menu or Basic menu.

Select Kisekae Tool/i/[Yes].
: To check data: Select Kisekae Tool/t (to show data list screen in
Kisekae Tool)/select data/t.
: In the confirmation screen for the collective setting of the font size,
select [Yes] to change to the font size specified for Kisekae Tool.
When the Custom menu image is changed by Kisekae Tool, some
items in the Custom menu may be changed according to the menu
history. In addition, some items cannot be selected even if the function
number is entered. In these cases, operation may not run as explained
in this manual. Switch the menu screen to the Basic menu (nP. 37) or
perform the Reset menu screen (nP. 98).
Checking Kisekae Tool saved in the [Movable contents] folder on the
microSD Card is possible. However, they cannot be directly set.
Transfer them to the FOMA terminal handset before setting.
Even if Kisekae Tool is set while the 2in1 service is set, the following
items are not changed.
The stand-by display for [Dual mode] and [B mode] (nP. 399)
Phone ring tone, V.phone ring tone and SMS ring tone of Number B,
and Mail ring tone of Address B (nP. 400)
