Editing moving pictures

Edit shot moving pictures.

In the Custom menu, select [Data box]/[i-motion/
Movie].

Select a moving picture/C/[Edit
data]/[Edit movie].
: Fast forward/Fast reverse: Press r (for 1+
seconds)/q (for 1+ seconds).
: Frame-by-frame forward/reverse: Press v.
: To jump to the playback start position
assigned to a key: Press 1 to 9.
: To play edited moving picture: Press i.

Edit the moving picture.

Press C/[Save].
: When an edited moving picture exceeds 500 KB: Select file
t.
• To cut out the first approximately 500 KB: Select [For mail (short)].
• To cut out the first approximately 2 MB: Select [For mail (long)].
• To save as is: Select [None].

Select [OK].
: To edit the title: Select [Edit title]/edit title/t.
• Enter up to 36 single-byte (18 double-byte) characters.
: To change the save destination: Select [Change folder]/select
folder/C.
: To save and attach to a mail: Select [Compose message]/compose
and send a message.
Moving pictures shot by other than the SH-05A may not be edited.
Changing folders may not be available for moving pictures on microSD
Cards.

Save a scene from a moving picture as a still picture.

For some i-motion, such as voice only i-motion, [Fine] is not available
and forwarding frame is set to [Rough (hi-speed)].
In the following cases, the forwarding frame rate is set to [Rough
size/
(hi-speed)].
When the image size is FWVGA: 864×480, Wide: 720×400, VGA:
640×480, WQVGA: 400×240 or hQVGA: 240×176 in the movie
editing screen
When the data being edited exceeds 2 MB
Cutting moving pictures
Cut out a portion and save it as a new moving picture.

Select the cutting method.
