Setting to give playback sound preference
<Pref playback sound>
When i-appli is activated while playing music with MUSIC Player,
Background playback is available if [MUSIC Player] is set. However,
i-appli sounds prior to MUSIC Player regardless of the setting.

In the Custom menu, select [Settings]/[Snd/Vibrator/
Manner]/[Sound playback]/[Pref playback sound].

Vibrator
Notifying you of incoming calls and
alarms with vibration
Set the vibrator to notify you of incoming calls, mail, alarms and
GPS function.
The vibrator when an alarm is activated follows the vibrator setting.
Vibrates for approx. 0.8 sec b stops for approx. 0.8 sec and
Pattern1
repeats
Vibrates for approx. 0.3 sec b stops for approx. 0.3 sec b
Pattern2
vibrates for approx. 0.3 sec b stops for approx. 1 sec and
repeats
Pattern3 Continuous vibration
Melody ON For melodies created with vibration settings, the vibrator is
activated in conjunction with the melodies. Melodies that do
not have vibration settings vibrate in Pattern1.

Select the vibrator/t.
: Select from [Pattern1] to [Pattern3] with u to sample the vibration
pattern.
Note that if the vibrator is set and the FOMA terminal is left on a table, it
may fall due to vibration.
Melody Call setting
Changing ringing tone
When a voice call is received, the other party hears the melody
with sense of the season instead of the normal ringing tone. Also
set your favorite melody.
If a call is made from Videophone, Melody Call is not played.
Melody Call is a paid service that requires subscription (i-mode
subscription is also required).
Refer to "Mobile Phone User's Guide [Network Services]" for details on
using Melody Call.

settings]/[Incoming settings]/[Melody Call
setting]/[Yes].
: Connect to the i-mode site of Melody Call. Packet transmission
charges are incurred for connecting to the i-mode sites (Packet
transmission charges are not incurred for connecting to setting sites).

Quality alarm
Sounding alarm when a line is likely to
be disconnected
Quality alarm is available only for voice calls.

settings]/[In-call settings]/[Quality alarm].

Select an alarm tone/t.
The call may be disconnected without the alarm sounding if the signal
suddenly becomes weak.
