Backing up/Restoring data in the FOMA

Data and setting items of each function are backed up/restored
collectively.
The following data are backed up/restored.
Phonebook
Bookmark
The following settings are backed up/restored.
Sort rules of mail
Font size setting in mail display screen
Save signature
Receive/Auto send display
Receive attached file
Area Mail setting
Received/Sent messages history
Reject unknown
Reject calls
Reject calls by reason of non-disclosure
Record message
Redials/Received calls
Memorized character conversion candidate
Alarm
Backing up from the FOMA terminal to microSD
Card collectively

In the Custom menu, select
[Backup/recovery all]/[Backup to microSD].

Enter the terminal security code/t/[Yes].
Backup data overwrites the previous data.
If no data to be backed up is saved on the FOMA terminal, the backup
can not be performed.

Data cannot be restored if the backup is interrupted. Perform the
backup again.
Part of data is not backed up when available memory space of the
microSD Card is insufficient. Delete the needless data to increase the
available memory space or insert a microSD Card with sufficient
available memory space to perform the backup again.
Other functions cannot be activated during backup.
It may take time to back up.
For mail and bookmark, folder information is also backed up.
Phonebook
The owner information is backed up as a phonebook entry.
The saving destinations for name, reading, phone number and mail
address may change.
The phonebook 2in1 settings are also backed up.
The following data is not backed up.
Secret code Ring tone settings

Group settings other than group name
Non-redistributable image files

The following data is not backed up.
Alarm information other than alarm time
Contacts Reception, Recording
Birthday data
Data with no end date/time set will be backed up with start date/time set
as end date/time.
