as conversion candidates.

The displayed items may differ depending on the function.
[Direct conversion]
When Direct conversion is set to [ON], the list number appears in the
conversion candidates field. When texts are input, press 1 to 9, 0,
* or # corresponding to the list number to select a conversion
candidate.
When Direct conversion is set to [OFF], the list number does not
appear. Input the next text when the cursor is in the conversion
candidates field.
[1 chara mem conv]
This function is available while Quick conversion is set to [OFF].
[1st choice genre]
E indicates high priority and H low priority.
[Personal guess]
When Personal guess is set to [Auto switch o], if a mail address saved
in the phonebook is entered as an address and an i-mode mail is
composed, the personal guess conversion is performed according to
the mail type.
Mail addresses for company mobile phone and company: Select
[Businessn]
Mail addresses other than those for company mobile phone and
company: Select [Standard]
Perform the conversion with [Standard] when i-mode mail is not
composed.

Adding a space at the end of message

Press r at the end.
: A single-byte space will be entered regardless of the input mode.
Each space is counted as one character.
Changing characters

Enter a character/*.
: Switch between upper case and lower case or enter dakuten/
handakuten by pressing *.
: For alphabet, the input mode is also switched.
Converting hiragana to katakana or alphanumeric

Select a conversion candidate/t.
Conversion candidates appear for the katakana, alphabet or number
assigned to the key and predicted date and time in both double- and
single-byte characters.

Press s (for 1+ seconds).
Up to ten previous operations can be canceled. When a message is
entered, undo is available only once.
Undo may not be available depending on the entry screen.
When a kanji cannot be found

Enter a single kanji by its Chinese or Japanese reading.

Select a kanji/t.
There are 6,355 kanji available from JIS level-1/level-2 kanji sets.
