Adjusting earpiece volume
Select from [Volume 1] to [Volume 10].

In the Custom menu, select [Settings]/[Snd/Vibrator/
Manner]/[Select volume]/[Received call volume].
: Alternatively, press o (for 1+ seconds)/p (for 1+ seconds) in the
stand-by display.
• While viewing stand-by memo: Press p (for 1+ seconds).

Adjust the volume with u/t.
When the operation is made from the stand-by display, wait
approximately 2 seconds after adjusting the volume and the stand-by
display reappears.
Adjusting setting sound volumes

end sound, Timer sound>
Select between [Volume 1] to [Volume 10] and [Silent].

Sounds are disabled in the Manner mode regardless of the setting.

Sound playback
Setting 3D sound and sound quality
Set stereo effects and equalizer used when playing melodies.
Melody stereo effects is available when using a stereo earphone.
Melody stereo effects/Melody equalizer in Sound playback is linked with
Stereo effects/Equalizer while playing melody (nP. 327).
Setting 3D sound/surround
Set the following effects.
Stereo/ Play realistic 3D sound from stereo speakers. Ring tones
3D sound without 3D data are played in stereo sound.
Enjoy 3D sound compatible i-appli games and ring tones
with lively 3D sound.
Surround Playback format that offers rich and vibrant sound. Ring tones
are also played in surround sound regardless of 3D data.

Select an effect/t.
When the stereo earphone is not used, ring tones, melodies, etc. are
played in monaural sound regardless of the setting.
Surround effects are disabled when i-motion such as a ring tone, etc. is
set.
