Selecting phonebook search method
Perform one of the following to search phonebook.
Reading? FOMA terminal handset and FOMA card phonebooks are
sorted by reading.
Group? FOMA card phonebook is sorted by group after FOMA
terminal handset phonebook is sorted by group.
Memory no.? FOMA terminal handset phonebook is sorted by memory
number.
Co. name? FOMA terminal handset phonebook is sorted by reading of
company/school name.

search method/t.

Making a call from searched numbers

In stand-by, press a.
: In the Custom menu: Select [Phone]/[Phonebook].
: Phonebook appears sorted by the previously selected search
method.

Select a name.
Search by reading
: Names appear in the following order: Katakana (phonetic order b
dakuten/handakuten) b alphabet b numbers b spaces
symbols b no reading.
* When a space is entered as the first character
: Select the first reading to display closest entry (Quick search).
Search by group
: Entries are sorted by the specified group when entered in the
phonebook.
: Select a group to display the phonebook list screen.
• To switch groups: Press v.
• For searching names in the group, take the same procedure of
searching by reading.
Search by memory no.
: Closest entry appears after each digit is entered (Quick search).
Search by company name
: Entries are sorted by the saved company/school when entered in the
phonebook.
: Select a company/school to display the phonebook list screen.
• To switch company/school: Press v.
• For searching names in the group, take the same procedure of
searching by reading.

: Voice call: Press s.
: Videophone: Press i.
