5. Configuring Voice Messages

The Max 8 or Max 8 Plus employs a set of default
messages for the IVR voice prompts and responses
callers hear, and for the prompts and responses you
hear when you configure the Max through a telephone
keypad.
If you wish, you can record custom voice message files
(vocfiles) to replace the default ones. This section will
explain that procedure.
NOTE: Before attempting to record a new
voice message file, review Section 2.1.2,
