IQ PLUS CHARGER (ONBOARD)
IQ PLUS ONBOARD BATTERY CHARGER TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
SYMPTOM
Relay operates intermittently
Single charger fuse link blows
Both charger fuse links blow or
receptacle fuse link blows
Charger output is low
Charger turns off too soon
Charger goes to 16 hour time out
AC line fuse blows or AC circuit
breaker trips
Battery warning light illuminates for ten
seconds at four second intervals

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Failed charger relay
Diode failed
Loose internal fuse connection
Battery is wired in reverse polarity
DC cord is wired in reverse polarity
Both diodes failed
One diode failed
Transformer coil short-circuit failure
Onboard computer malfunction
AC power supply was shut off
Onboard computer malfunction
Batteries may be fully charged
Onboard computer malfunction
Extremely discharged batteries or cold
temperature
Failed or weak battery
AC cord is shorted
Failed transformer
Incorrect charger wiring
AC power interrupted
Onboard computer malfunction
Charger failure
