showlocator
Use the showlocator command to view the state of the switch's Locator LED (on
or off).

To Use the showlocator Command

Note – You do not need user permissions to use this command.
At the sc> prompt, type the following command:
sc> showlocator
If the Locator LED is on, ALOM returns the following result:
sc> showlocator
showlocator: Locator indicator is ON (flashing)
If the Locator LED is off, ALOM returns the following result:
sc> showlocator
showlocator: Locator indicator is OFF
To change the state of the Locator LED, use the setlocator command.
showlogs
Use the showlogs command to display the history of all events logged in the
ALOM event buffer. These events include switch reset events and all ALOM
commands that change the state of the system (such as reset, poweroff, and
poweron).
Each event recorded in the log has the following format:
date: severity: FRU: message
Where date signifies the time at which the event occurred, as recorded by ALOM,
severity is the seriousness of the event, FRU says where the event occurred (on
PS0, PS1 or SSC0), and message is a short description of the event.
