Problem
Serial bar codes do not print.
Backing paper is wrapped
around platen or peel roller.
Blank labels print or 750
series errors.
When downloading a script,
the printer errors.
After downloading a script,
the script does not appear to
be loaded.
Printer displays "Please Wait
RFID Initialization."
Printer displays "RFID
Detection Not Complete."
Printer displays "Monarch
Initializing."
Printer does not read or
program the RFID tag.
If you cannot fix a problem, call Service.

Action
Leave printhead unlatched when not in use.
Use a print speed of 2.5 IPS.
Adjust the print contrast.
Carefully remove the backing paper. Make sure the
backing paper tears at the saw-toothed tear edge when
using backfeed and peel mode.
Clean supply sensors.
Check the available flash memory. Format flash memory or
clear NVRAM.
Try formatting flash memory, then download the script
again.
You sent an RFID batch before the printer communicated
with the interrogator. The printer prints the RFID batch
once communication with the interrogator is complete.
You tried to access the Setup, RFID Menu before the
printer communicated with the interrogator. Press
Escape/Clear until you see "Print Mode Ready." Wait
several seconds and then try to access the Setup, RFID
Menu again.
This message should flash briefly on the display when you
turn on the RFID printer. If it does not disappear, turn off
the printer; wait fifteen seconds and then turn on the
printer.
Make sure the Read Write value and Signal Adjust (if
applicable) are set correctly for your inlay (RFID tag).
