Chapter8 Firmware Upgrade

8.1 Upgrade from USB Flash

1. In the "Utilities" menu select the "Upgrade" button.
2. In the popup dialog box select the USB button.
Note: Make sure that the update firmware file is placed in the USB FLASH root directory, and
that the USB FLASH is formatted as FAT32 file system.
3. The DVR will search for the upgrade firmware file in a connected USB FLASH, and
update firmware. After upgrading successfully, DVR will ask you to reboot.

8.2 Upgrade from CD

1. In the "Utilities" menu select the "Upgrade" button.
2. In the popup dialog box select the CD button.
Note: Make sure that the update firmware file is placed in the CD-ROM root directory.
3. The DVR will search for the upgrade firmware file in a connected CD-ROM, and update
firmware. After upgrading successfully, DVR will ask you to reboot.
