For a crane/hoist, an elevator application, as lifted
up and down at controlled speeds, the direction of
rotation is frequently reversed. In such cases, the
load can be started smoothly, by adding load
torque into the torque reference equivalent to the
additional torque, when starting acceleration after
releasing the brake.
